Things in life sometimes just don’t go as we expect them to be. Sometimes, no matter how much we try to make things work, they just don’t happen as we want them to. It’s just like all the times that we procrastinate because we believe we have time to do all our work but then we realize that we really don’t have any time at all. Or like the times when we have studied for days for a HUGE test that’s coming and we drink 5 cups of coffee a day just to stay wake in class because we were up studying late and then when we finally get the test back we realize that we didn't do as well as we thought we would. Yeah. It sucks. Been there, done that.

All of these things happen all the time and honestly, sometimes your days are so BAD that you can swear that the universe is against you. Don’t worry, it’s really not against you. It’s just life.
For us, life is always going to be unexpected. We can never guess what’s going to happen tomorrow in our lives. We can be rich one day and then be poor the next. We can be passing our senior year one day but then be failing 6 of our 9 classes the next. We can just never guess accurately what is going to happen.

Fortunately, we do know someone that knows EXACTLY what’s going on, not just tomorrow, but 10 years later or 20 years later.

God.

It’s really neat to know someone that knows your future, exactly how it’s going to happen. Plus the fact that you can trust Him to guide us to fulfill that wonderful future He has for us is even better! You have NO IDEA how much pressure I have been put into about college and my career. There was a point in my life that I honestly did not know what to do with the rest of my life and it’s a big deal, but I was so lost.

Until I surrendered that part of my life completely to God.
When we surrender those areas of our lives that we worry about so much about we feel this inner peace and tranquility, a kind of serenity that comes from knowing that God is in COMPLETE control and he will take care of our future. And it’s going to be more than we ever expected.
